Your article marketing strategy and your product creation are closely related. After all, you will be using your articles to promote your products and web sites. Otherwise, why use article marketing at all?

The most effective way to develop your article marketing strategy here is to develop it before you create any of your products. Determine what your market is actually looking for in a product. Create products that solve the problems of customers in your market. Then write articles that are overviews or brief outlines of the content contained in your products.

You may also want to consider offering excerpts, or samples of your products. This gives potential customers a chance to experience your products first hand. They are more likely to buy if your product solves their problem.

Now, if you’ve already created your products, you may simply want to read back through them and then write your articles. There are a couple of different ways you can write articles here.

First, you may want to consider using excerpts from your products. An excerpt is a very small part of your actual product, a sample. This is an effective way to market because it allows readers to actually read a sample of your product.

What you want to do here is to select a section that is about 500 to 800 words long. It should contain some excellent information that will really give your readers a hot tip or two that will make them want to get more information from you.

You want to offer a section that has actual information, but you also want to leave your readers “hanging.” Give them a reason to want to click through your resource box to your web site.

You may also want to consider using your product outlines as article content. Instead of using these to write your products, simply add a few bullet points or two to three sentences paragraphs to each point. Choose several of these points for each article.

If you don’t have an outline of your product, you may want to read back through your products and create one. Then you can use these outlines to write your products.

Finally, consider using the bullet points you included in your sales letter to write articles. There are different ways to do this. Answer any questions that these bullet points may create. You may also want to expand on these points and give further information.

Regardless of how you choose to do this, what you want to do is to give valuable information to your readers. Build a relationship with them and build up credibility. Show them you will solve their problems and you will make the sale.
